Your Financial Gatekeeper

Yacht Industry Expertise with the Same Careful Oversight for Other Businesses

While yacht and charter operations are a particular area of expertise, my approach is valuable wherever financial accuracy, organized documentation, and careful oversight matter. I do more than record transactions. I prepare the accounting, examine the information behind the numbers, follow up when something is missing or unclear, and finalize financial records with the client’s interests at the center.

For self-managed charter-yacht owners, that support can include invoice and vendor coordination, charter revenue and deposit monitoring, crew-document organization, work-permit process coordination, charter-readiness records, owner reporting, and financial gatekeeping.Running a self-managed charter yacht involves far more than recording income and expenses. It requires organized documentation, careful bill review, vendor follow-up, charter and crew coordination, and a clear view of what is happening financially.

Invoice & Bill Review

I review invoices, receipts, card charges, and payment requests for completeness, reasonableness, proper support, and connection to the yacht’s operation.

Vendor Communication

When questions arise, I assist with requesting missing invoices, receipts, statements, itemized explanations, corrections, or credits from vendors.

Expense & payment oversight

I help create a clear, documented workflow for receiving, reviewing, owner approval, payment scheduling, and retaining supporting records.

Charter Revenue & Deposit Monitoring

I track charter agreements, deposits, payments, commissions, refunds, and outstanding balances so charter income receives proper attention.

Crew Documentation Coordination

I assist with organizing and tracking crew-related financial and administrative records, certifications, onboarding documents, renewal dates, and supporting information.

Work-Permit Process Coordination

I assist with gathering and organizing documents, tracking deadlines and costs, and coordinating with established BVI work-permit service providers. The specialized provider handles permit preparation and filing.

Charter Readiness Organization

I help maintain organized financial and administrative records supporting charter operations, including agreements, payment records, insurance, vendor files, and applicable supporting documents.

Vendor & Contract Files

I help organize vendor contacts, service agreements, renewal dates, recurring expenses, warranties, and supporting records.

Financial Organization

I create an owner-accessible system for statements, invoices, receipts, approvals, charter documents, crew records, and other key information.

Owner Reporting & Communication

I provide understandable financial reporting and highlight significant expenses, cash needs, open questions, upcoming obligations, and items that require an owner decision.

Yacht Expertise, Broad Financial Support

I do not simply enter transactions and move on. I prepare the accounting, examine the supporting information, and finalize the financial records with the owner’s interests in mind. If a bill, receipt, charge, deposit, or payment does not make sense, I ask questions and pursue the information needed to understand it. My role is to help protect the owner’s financial picture by keeping the details accurate, supported, organized, and visible.
