I bring more than 25 years of experience to my work, and I truly have a passion for working with numbers. I’m serious about the work, but I don’t believe accounting has to feel cold or dull. I absolutely love what I do, and I like bringing a little humor and humanity to the process.
One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is helping clients understand their financial statements. When I can walk someone through the details and they have that genuine “aha” moment, it absolutely makes my day.
My background includes yacht industry accounting, hospitality accounting, reconciliations, chart of accounts development, financial statement preparation, invoice auditing, and year-end support with the company’s CPA. I’ve spent years in environments where accuracy, organization, and clear communication matter. That experience taught me how to look beyond the surface of the books, recognize what needs attention, and create systems that actually support the business.
Through Above-Board Accounting, I provide reliable support, clear communication, and a steady hand that helps clients feel more confident in their numbers — without making the whole thing lifeless.
